Pink & Green Thursday: Girly Pink Baby Shower

 

Happy Pink and Green Thursday, sweet friends!

This week I am showcasing a very girly pink Elephant-themed baby shower by Kara's Party Ideas.  Her blog is always full of inspiring ideas and thoughtful and elegant ways to add a special touch to parties, and this shower that she designed for her sister is no exception.  I love how she selected such a sweet variety of ribbons and streamers, and the placement of the flowers in apothecary jars. You will notice she actually painted peanuts pink and strung them as a backdrop for the take away treats displayed on a painted highchair.  So clever.

Pretty impressive, right?  Such a fun and vibrant celebration with a modern twist.  I especially love the use of the pink chevron running throughout the elephant theme.  From the amazing display table surrounded by pompoms and streamers, to the make your own Italian soda bar, and assortment of delightful desserts, you know the mother-to-be had the time of her life!  (I am in love with the mini shortcakes, cheesecake bites and beautiful raspberry mousse...and how cute are all of those cupcakes?!)
