Pink & Green Thursday: I {Heart} Summer!

Hello darlings, and Happy Pink & Green Thursday!

Hugs and thanks to my sweet friend Mrs. Pink Champagne for guest hosting last week as I was away.  Doesn't she have exquisite taste?   I know we are still in the final days of April, but I can't help having summer completely on my mind.  I even picked up a new swimsuit last weekend (love all the ruffles) and spent a little time in the pool.  Besides, if Lilly says Summer 2011 is officially here, I believe it!

As always, please feel free to play along with us for Pink & Green Thursday by grabbing the button off of my sidebar, posting your favorite pictures of the week, and add your link to the blog hop below!

Here are some summery things making me smile this week:

A different way to serve watermelon - fresh Watermelon 'Cake'!  I can't wait to serve this over the summer.
Perfectly pretty and refreshing for a hot day by the pool!

These sweet, summery, simple leather clutches by Clare Vivier make me giddy.

"La Pochette" in green, pink and blue

Madras, madras everywhere!  The madras bow belt is a summer must-have, and who could say no to a fun game of madras checkers?  Check out Just Madras on their website, on twitter, or on tumblr for more great summer essentials.

Summer traveling means packing light.  A couple of Lilly's, a pair of white jeans and sandals, a week's worth of bikinis and you're set.  A travel duffel from Ame and Lulu in either of these darling prints would be a perfect way to travel in style this summer!  Visit their website for more colorful fun or say hello on twitter.

Happy summer "prepping" all, and Happy Pink & Green Thursday!
xoxo

P.S. Special thanks to all again for your sweet messages over the last week.  Our beautiful Grandma Josie went to Heaven on Easter Sunday morning.  Can you imagine a more perfect day to join all the angels, and to be reunited with her sweetheart?  Her funeral service on Tuesday was a joyous yet tear-filled celebration as we remembered all she shared with us over 96 years.  She will be in our hearts forever. xx
