Pink & Green Thursday!

Happy Pink and Green Thursday Friends!

I can hardly believe it's been since September 30 since I posted for my favorite day of the week.  Thank you for being patient with me while I tended to some personal matters over the last couple of months.  Happy to be back to blogging, I've missed everyone!

As always, please feel to join me by grabbing the button off my sidebar and linking up below!  For those of you who are new, welcome!  Please do say hello and introduce yourselves, I want to visit each of your lovely blogs as well.  Consider joining us for the fun too - no rules, just show us your favorite pink and green images of the week and link your blog post below.

Without further ado, here are my pink and green images for you this week!

I've been saving these for a special occasion, and today seems just perfect.  These exquisite images are from the amazingly talented bridal and couture designer Peter Langner of Rome, Italy.  Peter Langner is someone who I was fortunate to become friends with during the three years I was in the bridal business, and I have followed him through the years.  His attention to detail, impeccable style and selection of the most amazing fabrics make him one of the most talented designers in the business in my opinion.

Isn't the veil above gorgeous?  I have seen how Peter makes his satin trimmed veils...not just a strip of satin stitched in a single row around the edge of the tulle, but made of the same luxurious silks that his gowns are made from, cut on the bias, and hand stitched around the edge of the veils.  Even his tulle is made of the finest silks, and the way they drape and encircle his gowns is breathtaking.

In a sea of strapless gowns, Peter Langner has always designed unique gowns that offer alternative necklines.  This modern gown with its upswept hem and back bustle detail is so modern and chic.

A perfectly fitted bottice, dreamy ballgown skirt, and luxurious fabric, this one is my absolute favorite!
If you have the opportunity to see any of Peter's work at a trunk show or a bridal boutique, you will fall in love, I am sure of it!

The next images are equally as dreamy and enchanting.

I love the whimsical pose of this image and fun, flowing fabric of the gown...especially loving all those balloons!

Such beautiful lighting in this image, and I adore how the headpiece detail and cage veil complement the intricate gown designs.

This looks right out of a fairy tale, and I am particularly fond of the sparkling Louboutin's peaking out from underneath her gown!

So dreamy in pale lavender, the oversized bow in the back is such perfection!
Absolutely, positively swoon-worthy, don't you think?
Do you have a favorite?

Thank you for the lovely welcome back to blogland yesterday.
Wishing you each a whimsical and enchanting Pink and Green Thursday!
xoxoxo,
Trishy
