Pink and Green Thursday: South of the Border!

Monday was officially the first day of summer, as well as National "Wear Your Lilly" Day!  I wore my new Lilly Blair dress with gold Jack Rogers, and felt like I definitely started summer off on the right note!  I loved reading everyone's Lilly-filled posts, and my very favorite was from The Pink Prep.  You have to see the pictures of her and her sweet daughter wearing Lilly over the years, it is absolutely precious - check it out here!

I can hardly believe it, but Matt and I are leaving for our vacation in Mexico in TWO WEEKS!  Where, oh where has the time flown by?!  I am so very excited for some much needed R&R with my sweetheart.  I also really need to get it together and start packing!

This week Rene at Cottage & Vine hosted a fun linky beauty products party, you should stop over and play along too!  The question is, if you are going away for the weekend and can only take five products in your cosmetic bag, what would they be?  Since I am all about simplifying my beauty routine on vacation, here are my five items that will be making the trip to Mexico with me!

1.  NO-AD SPF 15 Sunscreen:  I love this product, it's inexpensive and provides great protection against the sun, plus it contains aloe vera, cocoa butter and vitamin E, so your skin stays moisturized.  Plus, PINK bottle!

2.  Benefit Posietint:  Petal-pink stain that leaves a see-through tint on cheeks and lips.  Best part is the product is smudge-proof and gives you a rosy glow for hours!

3.  Benefit 10:  A perfect combination of bronzer and highlight!  Simply sweep the brush over the dual powders for an extra hint of shimmer on your cheekbones and collarbones.  

4.  Benefit BADgal Waterproof Mascara:  I typically go very minimal if any eyemakeup on vacation, but I like my eyes to stand out, so a waterproof, smudge-proof mascara is a must.  This one adds the perfect amount of oomph and glam!

5.  Philosophy Hope in a Jar:  While I love my sun as much as the next beach baby, I am also mindful of preserving my skin, so it's all about the sunscreen and moisturizer!   Hope in a Jar is a high-performance moisturizer with SPF 20 and hydrates skin, provides a gentle exfoliation, and helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  Perfection!

This OPI Strawberry Margarita polish will be absolutely parfait for a pre-vacation mani/pedi!  I'll be counting the minutes until I can be sipping a delicious margarita, or yummy watermelon granita...extra limes please!

What Pink & Green Thursday isn't complete without some dreamy wedding photos?  I came across these months ago when we were researching resorts in Mexico with our travel agent.  Aren't these brides and their simple beach weddings amazing?  Total bliss!

While in Mexico, there will be plenty of sailing...

...and hours of snorkeling...

I would love to be able to get shots like this, and was wondering what you think about underwater cameras.  Have you ever used one?  If so, what brand did you go with?  Is it better to invest in a digital waterproof camera, or is there a disposable one you recommend?  Any advice would be most appreciated!
