Apples & Anniversary Week

Hello!

I've been horribly absent from the blog world with work ramping up into our busiest season, plus lots of pending exciting opportunities for M and I (again work related)...more to come in the upcoming weeks about that! (Fingers crossed!)

I hate to see summer go, but I do love the brisk weather that the early fall brings. Perfect for apple picking weather! Now onto recipes for all of these beauties! First off I am definitely trying Katie's Apple Apple Pies :) Will let you know how they turn out!

We did get to celebrate our exciting 4 year Anniversary this past weekend with dinner at Mendenhall Inn, and it was a lovely experience. Despite a horribly rainy evening, we donned our Lilly's and settled in for a long, leisurely meal with great service. The snapper soup was delicious as were our entrees of filet and lobster tail, and chicken Mendenhall, covered with a sauce full of local mushrooms (wish I had taken pictures of the food.) Too full for dessert, but we came home to a mini Tiramisu cake I picked up from a local bakery. Yum!

It's been a wonderful 4 years honey, and I love you more and more every day! Thank you for adding so much sparkle to my life and for all that you do for us!
